Getting Aram With' is an exclusive section of The Aram (extra) where I interview prolific women of colour and Muslim women, on what's currently bringing them ease. It will now be published as a separate thread under The Aram (extra) for paid subscribers.
#36 is Nafisa Bakkar. CEO, co-founder of Amaliah and author of the debut book, How To Make Money, Nafisa has been awarded Forbes 30 under 30 and wrote the essay “On The Representations Of Muslims* * Terms and conditions apply” in the bestselling collection It’s Not About The Burqa.
She is one of my favourite brainy babes that I have the pleasure of knowing personally. I’m so proud to see another incredible woman make her dream come to life. Especially a Bengali and Muslim baddie. Alhamdulillah.
