On what I've been reading on Substack
Intentionally trying to grow a longer attention span
Note: as a summer sale, I’ve put an annual subscription down to £2 a month, less than a cup of coffee per month! Grab a ‘20% off forever’ subscription for you or your friend while ya can! Or support by leaving a Ko-Fi tip for this individual newsletter. And most of all, thank you for always reading and being here. I appreciate you all 💋
Now and then, and more commonly these days, I will delete Instagram and TikTok from my phone in the hopes of repairing my ever-shrinking attention span. These days, I feel my head go groggy from the doom scrolling. So I thought I’d compile a different kind of Aram & Joy List about the scrolling I’ve been doing on the Substack app.
Although, admittedly, it is still scrolling and it is still screen time, I find the app alongside Pinterest to be spaces online that do not usually leave me feeling heavier than when I opened it.
I’ve compiled the newsletters that have stuck in my mind below like my very own broadsheet. I hope you will find them resourceful or simply enjoyable. The words and work of these writers below have stayed with me.
